Our shul was founded in Elul 5750, September 2000, by a small group of people looking for a place where they can daven and feel at home. They strove for an environment of openness and welcoming, where Jews from across the spectrum can come together to worship in a non-judgemental atmosphere. There is no talking during the davening, but a casual atmosphere still reigns.
The shul decided to locate itself in the centrally located building of Yeshiva Ahavas Torah. Under the leadership of Rabbi Yisrael Hirsch and the care of its enthusiastic members, the shul has high hopes of growth and providing helpful services to the community.
